The Hunger Games

Alright so I think that I've written about The Hunger Games before but I really could care less. The Hunger Games Trilogy is one of the most amazing trilogies, if not the most amazing, ever. I cannot seem to stop reading the novels. Yesterday I finished Mockingjay and this is the 5th time that I have read it. :) Arg! I just LOVE it! HAHA. But by far The Hunger Games(the first novel) is the best in the series. Peeta however is my favorite character. ARG!!!! AHHHH i cant wait for the movie!!!!!!

So hey I have been on this Switchfoot kick for like a month now! I think Switchfoot is just amazing!! I am always listening to them. They are sooooooooooo goooooddd!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! Hahahah... in case you do not know who they are you need to check them out!! They are the greatest band ever(besides Paramore of course, lets not get to crazy). But they are freaking amazing!!! Here is just a sample of their amazingness!!! I LOVE THEM!! hahaha.....im a loser i know!! Just check 'em out! I promise you will like them! ;)

Vampire Academy

Okay so I know that I am kinda delayed with this review considering this book came out in 2007 or something like that, but I'm kinda a slow person (haha). But anyway I absolutely loved this book!!!! :) It was really a fantastic read. Vampire Academy also seemed more realistic then say twilight * cough gay cough*. But back on topic: this book was all around fabulous. Vampire Academy had lots of drama and twists and turns that I would never have expected. I may be a little biased though because I am partial to vampire stories but whatever!! HAHA! Vampire Academy is definitely worth the time it took to read! :)

Abandon

In this mysterious world created by Meg Cabot a girl named Pierce is finally discovering herself and the secrets that led to her death. Pierce died. We learn that from  the very beginning.  We also learn that she had what is called an NDE or a Near Death Experience. All mixed up in this mystery of her NDE and how she returned to the land of the living is a guy named John Hayden(isn't there always a guy). He has a mysterious background of his own that Pierce works to unravel. This novel is made up of twists and turns and many cliff hangers. At some parts I was completely baffled. Over all it was an excellent read so you should really check it out! :)

The Eternal Ones & All You Desire

So I have FINALLY read the sequel to the Eternal Ones by Kirsten Miller. The sequel is called All You Desire and I just love, love, loved it!!!! This is one of those rare times when the sequel is actually better than the first novel! The main character Haven finds out a lot about herself and her past lives in the sequel. Haven is really starting to develop as a character in All You Desire. Of course, however, there is tons of romance and mystery in All You Desire. You even kinda pity and love the bad guy in this novel. All You Desire brings you down a pathway of twists and turns that sometimes you are shocked and unprepared to take. This is a fantastic read for just about anyone! You can really tell that the characters are well thought out and have nice background material. This novel will keep you wanting more! I can not wait for the third book in the series to be published!!! :)

Nefertiti

This novel is called Nefertiti but it is really the story of a girl named Mut. It follows Mut's life over the course of 15 years. Mut is the sister of the Queen of Egypt. That is where Nefertiti comes into play. In the beginning Nefertiti is a very loving albeit mischievous sister. Throughout the novel Nefertiti does not grow much a a character. She becomes deceitful and mean. Nefertiti even allows Mut's love interest to be sent to the front lines of a war. Mut does not take this to well so she leaves Nefertiti's palace. The story ends in a weird twist of fate, I guess I would say. It is not your normal ending. However, This novel was an amazing read and i cannot wait to read more books by Michelle Moran!

Duos

My Favorite Book duo of all time would definitely have to be Eon and Eona by Alison Goodman. The way that Alison writes is different from the books that i am used to but these books are still amazing! In the first novel Eon a pupil in training to be chosen for the position of dragoneye has a very difficult burden to bear. Eon is not Eon, he is a she. Eona is Eons real name and she faces many obstacles, the first being a dysfunctional hip. In the sequel to Eon called Eona, Eon is now not afraid to be called Eona. There is even romance in Eona!! but all together these two novels were an amazing read!!!

Books, Books, and More Books!!!

Summer is my favorite time of year for one reason only. It is the time that I can read books without being distracted by  school. Any who, during the course of this summer I have read 25 books! I am so excited to start sharing these! I love these books so much and I am sure many others do to!!!
